Overview

RecoveryCoaching.com is operated by 4recovery LLC (“4recovery,” “we,” or “us”). This policy explains how we handle information submitted through this website.

The website provides public information about peer recovery coaching and certification pathways. Protected request forms appear only when their server-side intake gate is enabled. It does not process payments or create a coaching relationship.

Information you provide

When enabled, the coach review request asks for your name, email, phone, your state (round-one applications are limited to New York), your credential type (CARC or CRPA) and current credential status, and three consents: to review of your application, to verification of your credential, and to application-status communications.

The out-of-state review request asks for:

  • Your name, if you choose to provide it.
  • Your email address and state.
  • Where you are in the certification process.
  • Your consent to be contacted about that support.

Neither request includes an open-ended message field. Please do not place health, treatment, recovery, financial, or other sensitive information into the bounded fields.

Technical and security information

When you use the website, our hosting and security systems may process standard request information such as browser and device details, timestamps, and network identifiers. We use this information to operate the website, limit abuse, and investigate technical or security issues.

The protected request forms include a hidden anti-spam field, bounded request parsing, and rate limiting. The application does not store IP addresses, user agents, full request headers, referrers, query strings, or complete payload copies with a request record.

How we use information

We use submitted information to:

  • Conduct a human review of the request.
  • Contact you about that request when appropriate.
  • Operate, secure, and improve the website.
  • Meet applicable legal and recordkeeping obligations.

A request does not approve an application, create network membership, activate a coach profile, promise certification support, trigger matching or assignment, or guarantee contact by a particular date.

Service providers and disclosure

We may use service providers to host the website, store request records, support communications, and protect the service. They may process information only as needed to provide those functions. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the website, its visitors, or our legal rights.

Links to external websites are governed by those websites’ privacy practices.

Retention and choices

We retain request information as a matter of policy — for human review, for the operation of the website, and for the integrity of our records. You may ask us to access or correct information you submitted by emailing support@4recovery.com; we may need to verify your identity first. We do not offer routine deletion. Where the privacy law of your state grants you additional rights, including deletion, we honor what the law requires.

Children

The website and protected request paths are not directed to children under 13. Please do not submit information for a child under 13 through a request form.

Safety

We provide peer support, not clinical care. If you’re in immediate danger or having a medical emergency, call 911. If you’re struggling or in crisis, call or text 988.

Updates

We may update this policy as the website changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
