The state agency connected to addiction services and peer roles in New York.
Why it matters: OASAS publishes public information about peer recovery roles and services in New York.
InUnity Alliance
InUnity Alliance
The organization that now houses NYCB resources during the transition from ASAP and Coalition for Behavioral Health history.
Why it matters: Some official credential information may appear across InUnity and older NYCB or ASAP-linked pages.
IUA
InUnity Alliance (abbreviation)
You may see the abbreviation IUA in source notes and non-affiliation language.
Why it matters: It appears in source and non-affiliation language across credential resources.
CARC
Certified Addiction Recovery Coach
A related recovery-coach credential with a different role fit and requirements.

CCAR
